Justin started off the 2010 Indiana season at North Vernon on Saturday April 3. dDerek claxton and Justin are working closely on the car setup, and Derek is helping turn the wrenches on the #5 Baldwin Brothers race cars this season. This was the first race of what is to be a very busy season for the Baldwin team. The team started out with great results battling Jeff Bland to a one two finish in the heat race. Starting 5th in the main, Justin moved forward passing Bland for third behind Leader Brady Short and Bob East in Second. Bland got back by Justin and then Justin took third back when Bland flipped after jumping the cushion and hitting the fence, almost collecting the #5 sprinter as the car tumbled down the track. After the restart Jsutin set sites on Bob East, passing him moving into second. Justin could gain ground on longer runs, but late race restarts gave Brady Short the edge he needed and took the victory over Justin. Great run for his first ever trip to North Vernon. Next up the 40 lapper back at North Vernon next week.
